Mikowai Ashwill is an associate at DFJ Growth. Prior to joining the firm, he spent over two years at Goldman Sachs – most recently as an investment banker in the Tech, Media and Telecom ECM group where he worked on the Marqeta, SentinelOne, thredUP, and Definitive Healthcare IPOs. Mikowai was also an analyst on the Business Development & Strategy team within Marcus, Goldman’s digital consumer banking division.
Mikowai graduated from Northwestern University with a dual degree in industrial engineering and music with a focus on piano performance. Mikowai has received awards at several national and international piano competitions and has given solo performances and live radio broadcasts in Europe and North America.
